Well, if one thing remains constant…it’s that we enjoy a good challenge here at Haptic Networks. In the past we’ve been daft enough to jump from planes, drive bangers around dangerous mountain roads as well as put on boxing gloves and ‘duke it out’ for charity. We’ve raised thousands over the past decade (for Macmillan Hospices, Help for Heroes, MIND, and many others)
This year we decided to raise funds for Cancer Research, a cause close to the hearts of almost everyone here in some form or another. Wolf Run is a 10km OCR (Obstacle Course Race) that provides its fair share of pain, mud and torture across a gruelling course laden with obstacles and swim sections.
We’re proud to say that not only did we all make it through but we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves to boot. At the time of writing we managed to raise over £900 for Cancer research. We’re open to suggestions (as well as volunteers to join in with our craziness) so if there’s a good event you’d recommend feel free to send it our way.
Thanks to all our friends that sponsored us!
Joe, Darrell, Jade and Mark.
